hellloooooooo!

Hello all of our lovely Racers--
Have you missed us??? We've not written ANYTHING since last week. I don't know about Wendy, but I know I'm slowing down! I guess that's what happens when you're 357 in dog years.....

Updates-updates-updates!
We have turned in the team tee shirt order for **32** shirts! yeah! This library will be covered in pink and purple pretty soon!
We are really excited about getting them--and we hope you are too.

Komen finally emailed the spreadsheet to turn in our team registration today, so we will get that taken care of this afternoon.
Komen will still take online registrations up to Oct. 2nd, I believe, and people will still be able to register in person at the race space up to Oct. 16th.

I (Judi) have turned in our team's Race Space volunteer info to Komen--and sent an email to the ones who signed up to volunteer on Oct. 6th or Oct. 8th. If you sent me an email about volunteering, but haven't gotten a reply back from me, PLEASE let me know so we can add your name to the list.
We want to thank all of you who volunteered for the Race Space, so everyone give a BIG shout out to:
Wanda, Margie, Debbie, Crystal, Elizabeth D, Tina, Abbie, Karm, Wendy, and Barbara D!
Thank you Ladies--you are very appreciated! (we hope you know that, tho!)

Remember, if you have a hunky man who wants to help out with Three Miles of Men, whisper some sweet nothings in his ear and get him registered quickly!! Or, if you know of someone who has a great talent for entertaining people, have them volunteer to entertain the runners/walkers along the race route on Oct. 17th. Komen will appreciate their efforts--and who knows, they may get filmed by one of the TV stations, which may get picked up by the national news, YouTube,CNN, and they may become FAMOUS!! (just a thought!)
Once again, we could not be doing this without your generous support, so give yourselves a big shout out as well!
